Skipping breakfast

Time is tight in the morning, and grabbing just a cup of coffee for breakfast seems the only option. However if you skip your breakfast then your system will slow down to conserve energy and will store calories which in turn will have an affect on your metabolism. 

You'll likely end up eating more later in the day as you'll be hungry which can also slow down your metabolism. So even if you are not hungry in the morning, having a little something that's high in protein is a good option, for e.g. Greek yogurt or an egg white omelette, etc.

According to a research breakfast eaters tend to have less weight and are more successful at losing weight than those who skip the meal. Breakfast eaters also get more fiber, calcium, vitamins, zinc and iron and less fat and dietary cholesterol, perhaps it's because that they often eat cereal which is fortified with minerals, vitamins and fruit which is naturally nutrient rich.

So never skip your breakfast as it has always been said to be the most important meal of the day.
